This is a set of 20 government subsidized housing units where the cost was totally controlled, giving a very economical result, especially in that era when prices were constrained. In spite of this, we were able to raise masonry walls that were not clad walls, but rather 15 cm thick walls, as is typical in Sant Llorenç. We did this even though we were not able to obtain old stone as had been agreed to at the beginning of the job. The interior finishes were also quality materials, with marble flooring.
The set of housing units were located on urban lots by the Catalan Land Institute, which created a housing cooperative in order to be able to buy the land and build the homes.
The units were distributed in two sections, one with 12 houses in a row, and the other with 8 homes in a row. In the first twelve, given the topography of the site, a building type was used that had a basement level with a common access to the parking garages that simplified the design and reduced costs.
